10 out of 1000 - Blog posts that you'll want to read again
08/26/2013
Zwischengas is now 1000 days old, a good reason to look back a little. 1000 days also means 1000 blog posts and some of them are certainly worth looking at again.
There was, for example, the description of a steam car journey, which showed so impressively how complicated driving could be over 100 years ago.
Or there was the reappraisal of the first car race from the early days of motor racing.
And many a " forgotten vehicle " was recalled in a series of articles, for example the Sovam 850A, the Arista Passy or the other Daytona that did not come from Ferrari.
There were also thoughts on interesting people from the automotive scene, such as the digression on Ercole Spada, the designer of the Aston Martin DB 4 Zagato.
Bernhard Brägger's stories about special events, such as the Realp-Rotondo gravel mountain race , were also a delight .
Readers loved the article on the colors of the VW Beetle and the accident involving a Maserati Ghibli . The four-door Porsche 911, which was built in the USA more than 40 years before the Panamera, was also read particularly often.
And for those who like to peer into the crystal ball, the " Classic gems of the future " provided food for thought, such as the article on the Lotus Elise Mk 1.
We will continue to publish a daily blog post in the future, and we will also be happy to include thoughts and short articles from our readers in this section. Thank you for your loyalty!
