Anyone strolling through the miscanthus field last weekend during the Classic Days Schloss Dyck could also admire a very special combination.
A stately Mercedes Benz SE Coupé and a Glas 1300 GT Cabriolet in practically the same color were parked right behind each other in a crossover. And although they are from roughly the same period - the early 1960s - the differences in design are fundamental. Here the powerful and almost a little pompous Mercedes, there the delicate design by Pietro Frua in the form of the glass cabriolet. Truly, there was no uniformity back then.
