Brevity is the spice of life - or is it?

From the front, the Corami 001 looks like a typical sports car prototype from the late seventies, but when you look at the prototype from the side, it looks more like a photomontage. But the car was built exactly four times exactly as short.
It comes from Denmark and weighs just 395 kg. The first model pictured here was powered by a Fiat engine from the 128 model, producing 120 hp from 1,290 cm3. The handling should be quite lively and the car should be an interesting option for slalom racing, but we would recommend exercising due restraint on a wet circuit with fast bends. On the other hand, the turning circle, which is usually huge for sports cars, is pleasantly compact here for once.
The Corami 001 from 1979/80 was on display at the Altbüron hill climb on August 18, 2013. Our report with over 300 photos is already online.
