Sportswoman of the century in a rally Porsche
08/23/2013
Who's driving a Porsche 356? She bears the title "Sportswoman of the Century"! Not even Walter Röhrl, perhaps the best driver of all time, with whom she enjoys chatting, is entitled to this title.
She meets other famous colleagues at the Saalbach Classic; Stefan Eberharter, 29-time World Cup winner, two-time overall World Cup winner, Olympic champion and three-time world champion. Or Marc Girardelli, 46-time World Cup winner, five-time overall World Cup winner, four-time World Champion and two-time silver medalist at the Olympic Games.
The lady mentioned at the beginning, however, won 62 World Cup races, the overall World Cup six times, became world champion five times and won Olympic gold in the downhill. Yes, it is the 60-year-old Annemarie Moser-Pröll.
Walter Röhrl invited her and they all came. The Porsche Museum provided the vehicles and the ski stars joined in the fun. Stefan Eberharter said: "I really enjoy driving a car again that you actually have to drive yourself - without any electronics and with a manual gearbox!"
Our photo report will follow soon.
