Italy also had its first car

Germany celebrated in 1986, France in 1984. The first automobile built in one's own country was a big deal in both the 19th and 20th centuries. But Italy also celebrated, in 1984 or 1985.
Professor Enrico Bernardi is considered to be the first Italian car manufacturer, who in 1884 (or 1885) designed a kind of children's car with a petrol engine for his son. Bernardi had already developed the necessary 121.6 cm3 single-cylinder petrol or gas engine in 1882. However, the company "Miari & Giusti" did not produce "real" Bernardi cars, nota bene with three wheels and equipped for longer journeys, until 1894. So the Germans were ahead again.
However, the Italians not only celebrated the 100th birthday of the first Italian car at the Turin Motor Show in 1984, where the picture above was taken, but also the 100th birthday of the world's first vehicle with a petrol engine.
