Every year, we hit top form towards the end of the year, compile our best stories from the past months and put together the ever-popular Zwischengas annual magazine. The Corona year was no different, but the content had to adapt somewhat to the circumstances. We stuck to the 260 pages and focused not only on cars and personalities, but also on the photographic art of past years.
Of course, the cars were not neglected and because Zwischengas turned 10 years old in November 2020, we also integrated some reports from our early days, such as the history of the four-cylinder Morgan or the comparison of the NSU Ro80 against the Citroën GS Birotor.
The printed issues arrived today, just in time for Christmas. The pre-ordered issues are already in the post and should reach our readers in the next 5 to 8 days.
It's a great moment every year when you hold the magazine in your hand for the first time. The Corona year was no different.
What can you expect as a reader? Everything that has happened in 2020, both at Zwischengas and elsewhere in the world of classic cars, and should be remembered, has been documented. On 260 pages, we present the best articles from the Zwischengas editorial team and some guest authors also have their say. Special vehicles as well as interesting personalities from automotive history are portrayed. And if you want to get an overview of what's going on in the classic car scene in 2021, you should definitely take a look at the calendar for the coming year. The biggest and most important events are summarized there.
Of course, we would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people and companies who have made the annual magazine what it is today. After all, the annual magazine is not just down to the work of our editorial team. Many other people and companies have also played their part. Reto Feurer, who unfortunately is no longer with us, also played an important part in the success of the magazine. That is why we have dedicated it to him.
A big thank you also goes to our guest authors, who have contributed important articles. We would also like to thank all the owners and companies who have made their cars available to us again this year for photo reports and driving impressions.
Last but not least, we would also like to thank you, dear reader. Without our fantastic Zwischengas community, we would see little point in investing so many (extra) hours in a printed magazine. The frequent positive feedback motivates the team to outdo themselves every year. Thank you!
