Compact, practical and still in use after more than 60 years
Actually, it doesn't have to be an M or RS anything, because even today you can easily get from Rome to Vallelunga to visit the last DTM test before the great corona crisis in a Fiat 1100 from 1955.
In very good original condition, this car suddenly appeared in the paddock as if it was still in daily use.
And the ignition key was still in the ignition ... inviting us to take it for a short test drive.
Although the car looks small and delicate in this setting, its space is hardly less than that of the other cars in the parking lot.
Note/specification: 1089 cm3, 36 hp, self-supporting, under 800 kg, 116 km/h top speed, fuel consumption around 8 liters per 100 km.
A detailed model presentation from back then was published in AR 9/1953 .
