Will we brew the fuel for our classic cars ourselves at home in the future?
It would have been hard to imagine 20 or 30 years ago that many beer lovers today would be brewing their own drinks in their cellars. And it seems almost as unrealistic today that we might be synthesizing fuel for our cars in our own cellars in 20 or 30 years' time. But perhaps we will have no other choice in 2040, when all traffic is electric and filling stations have long since been converted into electric charging stations (or have disappeared).
It is quite conceivable that we will be able to produce fuel in our garage at home to run a classic four or six-cylinder engine. Today, however, this would hardly be financially interesting, but if there is no more gasoline, then you just have to look for creative alternatives.
P.S. We would like to thank the Shadong Zhuoda Brewing Group, which we do not know in detail, for the picture, which of course does not show a fuel synthesis facility, but a compact beer brewing equipment.
