Also a hybrid

At first glance, the yellow BMW convertible looks like a BMW 1600-2 from the late 1960s, built in small numbers for fresh air fans. However, the yellow Everytimer 02 is not a vintage car with wide tires, but actually a modern BMW 135i from the E88 series, built between 2007 and 2013.
The Augsburg-based company "Everytimer" has developed an adapter kit and body parts to give the modern 135i convertible (with 378 hp) a nostalgic look. The front and rear in particular have been modified, and parts of the interior have also been replaced. Everytimer quotes a list price of EUR 129,990 for the car, which is equipped with a DKG and all kinds of accessories.
At Retro Classics Bavaria, which runs until Sunday, December 8, 2019, the convertible was on display once again and could be compared with the original, which was available as a completely open BMW 02 series, but also as a Baur Targa version (as in the picture). The differences then become apparent quite quickly ...
