It was actually 75 years ago that the Rapid small car, designed by Joseph Ganz, was built in Dietikon near Zurich. The two-seater weighed around 400 kg and reached 70 km/h with its 350 cm3 engine thanks to its streamlined shape.
This rarity, which we published a brief history of many years ago, can currently be seen at the Swiss Classic World 2021 in Lucerne. The classic car fair is open to the public until Sunday evening (October 3, 2021). And this would be just one of many rare vehicles that you can admire there ...
