A mouse movie for the oldie?
Some people have their old cars electrified, others give them modern technology. It seems that the installation of modern LCD displays is not far off.
One example could be seen in Padua at the Auto e Moto d'Epoca classic car fair on October 21-24, 2021.
In an Alfetta 2.0 GTV, a mouse cinema lit up, as can be seen in many premium vehicles today.
However, the main aim was probably to present a completely renewed genuine leather, as the exhibitor was a saddler. From the specialist's point of view, the new display with matching embedding was probably a good fit ... or perhaps it was simply intended to attract more attention, which it certainly did.
We hope that Alfetta GTV owners will have their interiors restored as true to the original as possible, and in our view neither a dashboard trimmed in genuine leather nor a digital instrument panel fit the bill. But, as Toyota once said? "Nothing is impossible!"
