Rolling thunder

When it gets dark and a rumble of thunder can be heard on the horizon, it is not necessarily a thunderstorm. It may well be that mighty American V8 machines are racing each other. This is what happened at the 78th Goodwood Members' Meeting on Saturday evening.

The race for the Pierpoint Cup was won after a dramatic finish by Andrew Jordan and Adrian Willmott in the Studebaker Lark Daytona 500.

We will of course summarize the Members' Meeting in more detail and with lots of pictures, but we need a few more days for that...
