Play me the song of death

On December 21, 1968, Sergio Leone's western "Play me the song of death" was released. The film starring Charles Bronson quickly achieved cult status and is still arguably the best western of all time. The incredibly impressive, visually powerful scenes with their deliberate lengths make this almost three-hour epic a feast for the eyes par excellence. Ennio Morricone's film music underlines the whole thing threefold.
Namibia is a country full of beauty and friendliness, which even seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton can only confirm.
He writes on Facebook: "This year I'm spending my summer break doing something I've wanted to do for years. I'm finally pursuing my roots in Africa, and guys, just to say this trip has been experiential is an understatement. This has been a life changing reset. I feel like I have gained a new perspective on life, developed an even stronger love for animals, and grown even closer to my brothers with whom I have shared this special journey. Everywhere I look, I am surrounded by so much beauty, and I truly feel re-centered and at deep peace. My first stop was Namibia, one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen with my own eyes. Words and pictures can never do justice to what I saw."
There is really nothing more to add to these statements.
The only tragedy is that the unique wildlife has to be protected from extinction with heavy weapons. For example, five men guard four rhinos around the clock just to prevent them from being shot because of their two horns. The Chinese actually still believe today that they can increase their potency in this way. What incredible nonsense.
Hudson and Morris need much less guarding as they rot unnoticed in the hot desert sand. The absolute silence, interrupted only by the squeaking windmill, almost immediately brings to mind Bronson's harmonica with its typical sounds.
All major displacements in Namibia are still managed with combustion engines. You'd be lucky to get from filling station to filling station with one tank of gas, you don't even think about electric pumps.
