The cars of the eighties will continue to dominate the classic car scene for a while (Question of the week)
In the last ten years, the number of cars built in the 1980s on the road has halved. Nevertheless, the proportion of these vehicles that have now become classic cars is around 1/3 to 1/2 of the total number of classic cars.
We wanted to know from our readers in a " question of the week " whether this would continue.
47.2 percent think that the decimation of 1980s cars will continue, which will not prevent them from still outnumbering previous decades.
25.2 percent assume that the eighties will soon be eclipsed by the even more numerous nineties cars.
And 24.8 percent assume that the well-built eighties cars that are suitable for everyday use will continue to make up the majority of classic cars in the future.
It should also be mentioned that 2.8 percent did not find any of the answers accurate. A total of 254 readers took part in the survey.
