Fiat and the Neckar

Fiat cars were also built in Germany, more precisely in Heilbronn. NSU Automobil AG was founded there in 1929 and soon began building licensed Fiat models.
Because NSU in Neckarsulm also began producing cars in 1958, a name dispute arose which led to the Fiat 1100 built in Heilbronn from 1953 onwards bearing NSU, Fiat and/or Neckar lettering, depending on the year.
After the name dispute, the NSU was finally dropped in Heilbronn and, as we know today, NSU did not survive as a Neckarsulm brand.
And for those not familiar with geography, the Neckar is a river that flows through Stuttgart, Hielbronn and, of course, Neckarsulm. The Neckar thus connected half of the German car industry ...
Incidentally, the NSU-Fiat Neckar 1100 model portrayed was spotted at the Classic Gala Schwetzingen , the owner may be able to tell us the correct year of manufacture ...
