Ghia's Ford Falcon Clan as the predecessor of the Audi 100 Avant and other hatchback station wagons
In 1963, coachbuilder Ghia presented the Ford Falcon Clan at the 45th Turin Motor Show , which was based on the design of the already familiar Fiat Club.
The sloping rear end and sporty lines were characteristic. The car was also shown again - probably modified or in multiple versions - in Geneva 1964and Turin 1964.
Audi then repeated a similar design with the first (C2) and second Audi 100 Avant (C3).
RM auctioned the rare Ford Falcon Clan from 1964 in October 2020 on the occasion of the Mitosinka Collection auction( picture above).
