Do you need this in a classic car?

At this year's Rétromobilein Paris, we noticed a JaguarE-Type Series 1 from 1965 that had been "improved" in a number of ways. For example, the car was fitted with a reversing camera, electric windows and LED headlights. However, the first thing that caught our eye was the screen in the center console, which allows modern "entertainment" and thus, among other things, "Apple Car Play" to enter the classic car.
Do you really need this in a classic car? And who wants to listen to music in an e-Type when the in-line six-cylinder engine sounds so delightful? The modern entertainment electronics have also been supplemented by modern bucket seats, which fit just as poorly in the Jaguar.
