They are the most exclusive automobiles there are: One-offs. Even a Fiat with a special body can steal the show from a Ferrari. Of course, most design studies and concept cars would also fall into this category. But since in most cases they are not intended for sale from the outset, their uniqueness is more of a basic requirement than something special - especially as some of them are just driveless shells. For this reason, we have limited ourselves in this quiz to unique cars that you could actually encounter on the road, be they special bodies or road-legal prototypes.
Sometimes, at the special request of a customer, things that don't really belong together came together. In 1964, for example, Ferrari coachbuilder Scaglietti also bodied a single car from the three-pronged competition - with the result that his 3500 GT is probably the Maserati that looks most like a Ferrari. And the last Bugatti of the classic era was fitted by an American of all people.
