The Rétromobile Paris is in full swing. As always, the cars are first class and the special shows are top-class. The 100th anniversary of MG is celebrated right in the entrance area. And one exhibit in particular attracts visitors: a cut-open MGB GT.
This model is said to have been shown at its premiere at the Earls Court Motor Show in London in 1965, and two years later the same or a similar cutaway model was on display at the IAA in Frankfurt.
The British made no compromises and made everything visible. The longitudinally installed engine was cut in the middle, as were the seat upholstery and the sheet metal.
Accordingly, there is a lot to see and discussions are inevitable.
Of course, the 100-year MG special show also has other highlights to offer, such as famous record-breaking MG cars.
