Craftsmanship has golden soil

If you go to a classic car show like the Rétromobile in Paris, you can see a lot of wonderfully restored classic cars or cars that have been kept in their original condition. But that's not all. These fairs also give craftsmen, such as restorers or coachbuilders, the opportunity to showcase their skills and projects.
One example of this in Paris is the Chenard & Walcker Aigle 20 Type 22 R from 1937 shown in the club section, which is being restored according to all the rules of the art.
This includes, for example, the construction of a new wooden skeleton ...
... but also a complete mechanical restoration. This project takes around two years and is evidence of a true love for this automobile, because the project costs can only be justified by genuine enthusiasm.
The Alfa Romeo Alfetta 158, which was rebuilt from parts in the Jim Stokes workshop, is probably a little different. But the result and the applied craftsmanship are impressive here too!
