Fascinating insights into the automobile production of yesteryear
The process of creating an automobile has changed repeatedly over the last 100 years. Assembly line production, which was first introduced with the Ford Model T, marked the beginning of a steady reduction in manual labor. However, the production method was also always dependent on the production volume, as small series (example Lamborghini above) were usually made much more by hand because automation was not worthwhile.
Pictures that provide an insight into the production of a car are always exciting. The marriage of chassis and body, for example, or the installation of the engine are moments that were often shown in pictures in the past.
Because we also love these shots, we have long since dedicated a " Picture Magic" episode to them. We also thought that these would be the perfect setting for a car connoisseur quiz. The aim is to guess which manufacturer the more or less finished vehicles belong to. Give it a try, because the twelve special pictures alone are worth a closer look. There is nothing to be won and you can solve the quiz in several attempts.
