Hardly any classic cars have to stay outside (question of the week)
05/12/2020
Classic and vintage cars are pampered and care is always taken to protect them from environmental influences and long fingers. But not every owner of an old car wants or can afford a garage, which is why this " Question of the Week " aims to find out how high the proportion of old cars that have to spend the night/wait outside is.
We therefore wanted to find out with a "Question of the Week" whether Zwischengas readers always put their classic/young cars in the garage or leave them outside at night or during longer downtimes.
A total of 416 readers responded and the tenor is clear: only a few classic cars have to be left outside all the time.
Exactly 70 percent stated that their classic/young car is always kept in a secure garage and under cover.
26.7 percent said that although the old car had to be left outside from time to time due to circumstances, it was usually kept under cover.
Only 1.2 percent stated that their classic/young car was parked outside during the warmer months, while 1.7 percent parked their old car outside all year round.
Here is the evaluation in graphic form:
Of course, the next "question of the week" has already been asked. Now we want to know what the exit planning of classic/young car drivers looks like in view of the coronavirus restrictions.
And of course you can check the results of the previous "Questions of the Week" at any time in the corresponding topic channel.
