The history of their car is not a decisive factor for most classic car owners (Question of the week)
04/27/2020
The history of a classic vehicle has become increasingly important in recent decades, and in the case of luxury and sports cars, it is important to know their history right back to the beginning. The history of the car can also be decisive in the event of registration problems, and at the Concours d'Elégance anyway. We wanted to find out how important vehicle history is to car owners in a question of the week .
So we asked specifically: "How important is the history of your vehicle to you?" 304 readers took part in the short survey.
71.1 percent said that they would like to complete the history of their classic car, but that this was not a decisive factor for them.
12.8% stated that only cars with a proven history were of any interest to them, while 14.1% did not attach any importance to the history of their car. What is important is the driving pleasure and the car itself.
Two percent were unable to answer any of the questions given.
