Outside at last ...

In many areas, spring is currently spoiling us with the best weather conditions, scaring the authorities. In those areas where there is no curfew, sun-seekers are rushing outside. And of course the conditions are ideal for a drive in a classic car, I thought to myself. But somehow it didn't feel right to get the old car out of the garage right now, even though I could probably even make one or two passers-by happy. Somehow I didn't want to take the low-traffic street away from those who had to work all week, be it at the supermarket checkout, in the logistics center or in the healthcare sector. And now they were strolling with their children or running lonely jogging routes.
So I got on my racing bike and set off on a 20 km route in the surrounding area. I still spotted the odd classic and modern classic car (MG A, Triumph TR4, VW Beetle Cabriolet, Audi (80) Cabriolet) and was delighted to see them. For me, however, the sporting activity was much more rewarding after a week in the "home office" and only a little outside air, for once.
What's more, I can still make up for the missed trip, as the good weather conditions are set to continue. And sometimes anticipation is the greatest joy ...
