Recognize cars by their shadows?

We were already thinking about a car connoisseur quiz, but had to realize that we don't have enough usable photos and that the task is really difficult.
The car above could still be recognized to some extent (it's a VW 1300, i.e. a Beetle, identifiable by the two exhaust pipes and the round bumper), but the next picture would be much more difficult.
That's right, this is an Opel Kadett B from 1971, but you probably wouldn't have guessed that so quickly, despite the typical bumper horns.
And this is a Fiat 500 from 1969 - could you recognize it without the vehicle detail on the right?
Racing car fans might be able to identify this Lotus Eleven from 1957 ...
... but many/all experts would probably have to give up on this pre-war car at the latest.
And because shadows often distort contours and render them incompletely, the task becomes even more difficult. But perhaps you still enjoyed our examples a little. And we'll find another topic for our next car connoisseur quiz.
