Not only overall winners are interesting - Triumph at Le Mans 1965

In 1965, Ferrari won Le Mans for the last time, not with one of the favored Ferrari 330 P2s, but with a 250 LM driven by Jochen Rindt and Masten Gregory. The super-fast Ford GT40s retired, as did many others, so that only 14 cars were classified.
Two Triumph Spitfire finished in the last two places. This was certainly a success, which is why Standard Triumph also released a film about the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is still worth seeing, as this documentary shows some of the most beautiful cars ever to have raced at Le Mans.
