A gift from Nuremberg?
One of the largest and best-known Christmas markets is held in Nuremberg. And Retro Classics Bavaria, the last classic car fair of the year, also takes place at the beginning of December. It's the same this year.
And of course it's only fitting that you find covered cars. Like the wrapped Christmas presents, they make you wonder. I wonder what is hidden under this cloth (in this wrapping paper)? You can join in the puzzling, but we ourselves missed looking under the blue cover.
It would have been easier to find out the origin of another wrapped car. Of course, it helps if the car is also printed on the pyjamas.
Another rarity, an early Ford Granada Ghia, can be seen completely uncovered in Nuremberg. This was very different from other Ghia models at the time, as the radiator grille was changed, the interior upgraded and a digital clock fitted.
However, the rims are no longer those from the delivery, but the car is still causing a lot of discussion.
One or two visitors to the trade fair will no doubt pick up a Christmas present for a friend or relative from the wide range on offer, as it doesn't necessarily have to be a 1:1 scale car.
Retro Classics Bavaria will remain open until Sunday evening (December 9, 2018).
