Classic car magazines preferably electronic and printed (question of the week)
Printed paper is still popular, especially when it comes to vintage magazines. Although there are now very practical electronic alternatives (for example, the virtual newsstand app from readly.eu, which offers over 4,000 magazines in a practical app on a tablet computer or smartphone for a monthly rate equivalent to one or two printed magazines), 39.6% of respondents in the latest survey by Zwischengas believe that they would not want to do without classic classic car magazines from newsstands (or via subscription/home delivery).
However, 11.2 percent could do without information about classic cars on paper these days. After all, everything can be easily searched for and found, there is no waste paper or disposal problem and you can always have hundreds of magazines with you when you go on a trip, all in a handy iPad, which itself is hardly heavier than a printed magazine.
The majority of those who took part in the survey are not prepared to ignore the advantages. 46 percent voted in favor of doing one without the other. And why not? You can still buy (and subscribe to) special magazines that you want to collect or need again and again, while you can simply read all the others electronically and thus have much more choice, but have to lug around less paper.
3.2% did not find any of the answers suitable, for the sake of completeness.
