Are small cars the better classic cars?

There is something special about collecting microcars. Their value has remained very stable in recent years, not to say that they have increased significantly in value. Many microcars today are worth ten times or more than their original price at the time, although a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL or a BMW 328 can also achieve this, but the majority of classic cars tend not to.
Small cars also have a sympathy bonus and are technically comparatively simple. And they are fun even on short journeys and at low speeds, i.e. even in a 30 km/h zone. If you have to charge them once, they can fit on even the smallest trailer and even in the garage, three will fit where a full-size car would otherwise come to a standstill. And if the little one stops, you can push it into the nearest emergency bay on your own.
There's just one catch: good original Messerschmitt, Heinkel or Isettas aren't exactly a dime a dozen, and the search for them can be tedious. But that's one of the joys of the classic car hobby ...
