Of course, nobody wants cars burning down at a historic car race like the AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring.
But of course, a little smoke is allowed. And a little flame from the exhaust is part and parcel of some cars (e.g. Porsche 935 or BMW M1).
At the Nürburgring, it was certainly smoking yesterday from time to time. Whether in the Formula Junior ...
... or the historic Formula 1.
And the Ferrari 250 GT SWB Breadvan, which drove so photogenically into the evening sun, also showed signs of smoke.
