Maserati special show at the Retro Classics 2012 in Stuttgart
03/23/2012
Maserati, the brand with the trident as its emblem, will soon be celebrating its centenary. The five brothers Alfieri, Bindo, Carlo, Ernesto and Ettore Maserati founded the sports car manufacturer in 1914.
Retro Classics 2012 in Stuttgart is dedicating a special exhibition to Maserati that is probably unique of its kind. Starting with very early models such as the Tipo 26 B from 1926/1930 or the Tipo 26 M (1928/1930), through the famous 250 F monoposti, to the 300S and 450S sports cars, the first small-series racing sports car to drive faster than 300 km/h, they are all represented, supplemented by a whole series of road-going GTs and saloons.
This exhibition is probably unique in its kind and breadth and is certainly worth a visit to Retro Classics Stuttgart, which is open until March 25, 2012. A detailed trade fair report is already available on Zwischengas.
