At the Bern Museum Night in 2012, over 100 historic vehicles were once again used as cabs for the thousands of museum visitors. In perfect weather and mild temperatures, the cabriolets could even be driven open-top.
Passengers eager for transportation had to queue until the very end to get a seat in one of the classic cars. Many brands from Aston-Martin to Bugatti, Buick, Cadillac, Packard and Rolls-Royce were represented.
It was interesting to note that people were not primarily interested in the luxury brands. Some people preferred to drive a car that their father or uncle had owned many years ago. A Citroën 2CV, Peugeot, Opel or Ford was the perfect choice.
