Combine: It's not my door at all (car connoisseur quiz)
Hardly any other part of the car body is seen as often as the driver's door. You approach it before every journey and inevitably look at it. Contours, trim strips, sheet metal folds and window lines are subconsciously memorized over time. That's why you would immediately recognize the door of your own classic car. But what about other doors to happiness?
Everyone recognizes the Citroën 2 CV and Lamborghini Miura at first glance. The hinged windows and gills are too distinctive. Ford Mustang and Ferrari 308 would be more difficult, but not impossible. The Mercury Colony Park, despite its unique door shape, would probably only be recognized by those who have recently read our article about it. It's much easier with a widespread classic like the MGB, despite its rather arbitrary contours.
We have selected ten more or less characteristic car doors that we believe can be clearly identified. Would you like to try?
