It doesn't always have to be red
11/10/2022
Ferrari are red, at least in Formula 1. The prototypes in racing were also mostly red, exceptions confirm the rule.
There was a time when used Ferrari sports cars that were not painted red were considered almost unsaleable. Many a 308 or Daytona therefore changed its paintwork from e.g. brown metallic to Ferrari red.
But a Ferrari also looks good in many other colors, especially in green!
The Ferrari 365 GT4 BB from 1974, for example, wears the color "Verde Scuro Metallizzato" with pride.
The same applies to the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona from the same year, which is painted in a lighter shade of green called "Verde Medio Metallizzato".
But it's not just classic Ferraris that can display beautiful shades of green; a Ferrari 296 GTB or an F12 TdF also look great in green.
However, it is extremely rare for so many green Ferrari sports cars to come together in one place.
But all the cars pictured will be on display at the Auto Zürich new car and classic car show until Sunday, November 13, 2022.
The green cars from Maranello are not the only reason to visit.
