Summary
Although Ferrari offered a whole bouquet of colors for the 308 GTB, many buyers chose "rosso corsa". Only eleven coupés are said to have been given the elegant metallic "verde medio" color, a good reason to investigate the life story of one of these rare cars, especially as it is quite "colorful". This vehicle report portrays a 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB delivered to the USA and shows it in many pictures. Sales literature and historical photographs are also included.

So Pininfarina had to step into the breach again and quickly put together a two-seater 308, which of course was allowed to adopt the 255 hp V8 of the 308 GT4 as well as its chassis technology.
