MG Midget TF - small sports two-seater of the old English school (ZQ)
Summary
In 1954, the AR team tested the MG TF, the successor to the TD. This test is interesting not only because of the fact-based comparisons with the MG TD tested 3.5 years earlier, but also because of the 34 photos taken during the test drives. This test is therefore probably the best documented in photographic terms of the 1950s. Incidentally, the AR testers were positively impressed by the gnarled Englishman and even attributed educational potential to it.

The MG TF is a small sports two-seater of the old English school in its latest form. It is more spirited, faster and again has a stiffer suspension than its predecessor. The MG Midget "TF", which appeared last autumn as the latest offspring of MG Car Co. Ltd., part of the large English Nuffield Group, is, like all its predecessors, a typical product of this factory, which for almost 30 years has sought with perseverance and enthusiasm to realize the dreams of young car sports enthusiasts not yet blessed with great possessions, The MG, with its two-seater roadster body with sharp-edged contours, cut-out doors and typical radiator shape, the basic features of which have remained almost unchanged for many years, has become the epitome of the popular sports car for young and old alike thanks to its widespread distribution throughout the world.
