Our thanks to the right enthusiasts

Old cars may be a business for a few people, but for most owners and fans it is a matter of the heart. They invest their time and energy in making their car better/more beautiful or learning more about it and its peers. And if they still have enough energy and know-how left over, they also publish their findings for like-minded people and posterity.
We had to think of this when we recently found videos on YouTube showing the production of the Gilbern GT , a digitized film strip from which nobody can certainly earn anything. But isn't it great that someone took the trouble to digitize the old 16 mm film and put it on YouTube?
The same applies to those authors who painstakingly document the history of a long-forgotten car brand or coachbuilder and ultimately publish it as a book at their own risk, such as Joachim Drews, who published a work on the coachbuilding company of the same name together with a co-author.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all these enthusiasts, and we are only mentioning two of thousands of examples here. We appreciate their work!
