But rather the convertible (question of the week)
06/21/2021
Convertibles were once the cheaper cars, but in the 1950s at the latest, an open-top car was considered more of a luxury. In the seventies, roadsters, spiders and the like almost died out, only to experience a renaissance at the end of the eighties. When the cars were new, coupés were generally more popular, and preferences changed over time. But what about today?
We wanted to find out with a " question of the week " , which was: "Would you rather buy a classic car as a convertible or a coupé?"
Almost 500 readers stated their preference, but the result was still not clear-cut.
While 31.1 percent preferred the convertible, 21.7 percent were in favor of the coupé.
However, 46.3 percent said that it depended very much on the type of vehicle and that in principle both were possible.
0.8 percent could not come up with an answer.
Here is the evaluation in graphic form.
The next "Question of the Week " has already been asked: "What is worth more - patina or top restoration?"
All previous evaluations of the "Question of the Week " can of course still be read in the specially created topic channel.
