Only a few people care about listening to the radio when driving a classic car (Question of the week)
The car radio has been standard equipment in most cars for decades and, as a driver, you can use it to be entertained and, of course, informed. However, when the vehicle becomes a classic car, needs sometimes change and the car radio becomes less important. Is this true? We wanted to find out with a " question of the week" : "Do you actually listen to the radio in a classic car?"
Over 600 readers responded:
64.7 percent of classic car drivers never or only rarely listen to the car radio. 16.1 percent don't have a radio in their car at all, 19.5 percent have one but never turn it on. 29.1 percent listen to the radio from time to time.
However, there are also 33.8 percent of classic car drivers who often (21.5 percent) or always (12.3 percent) listen to the car radio in their vehicle.
1.5 percent did not agree with any of the above answers.
Overall, however, the majority of classic car owners do not consider listening to the radio in their old car to be important.
