Convertibles still the most popular (Question of the week)
For many people, it's clear that the right classic car for them has to be a convertible or a coupé. Others prefer sedans or practical station wagons. But what is the current preference of Zwischengas readers?
We wanted to find out and asked this " question of the week": Which body type do you prefer for classic/youngtimers?
And the preconception that open-top cars are the most popular was confirmed. 44% chose the convertible/spider/rover/barchetta type, i.e. truly open-top cars.
The coupé came in second place with 27.4%, regardless of whether it has two or three doors, the sleek silhouette is decisive.
The saloon took third place with 11.7%, while the estate car only came in at 1.5%. Just 0.8% preferred SUVs/off-road vehicles or cars with a boxy shape.
However, 14.7% of the almost 270 respondents did not want to decide at all. Perhaps it was because the "Targa" was missing or because they generally like several different designs?
This is what the results of the survey looked like graphically:
We have already asked the next "question of the week " , which is: what type of classic/young car meeting do you prefer to go to?
And of course you can still read all the previous results of the now more than 230 "Questions of the Week" in the topic channel.
