When the test device is almost bigger than the car

A trade fair appearance is also about creating a bit of atmosphere. At the Swiss Classic World in Lucerne today, we spotted this beautiful accessory, a Sun 1130 Electronic Motor Tester. The device has an impressive size and is probably also quite heavy, although its intelligence is far behind that of a simple cell phone.
In fact, a modern multimeter allows almost the same diagnostic functions without weighing much more than 500 grams, let alone needing wheels for transportation.
But the old device can still do its job today and it simply looks much more charming than its modern successors.
Incidentally, the Sun 1130 Electronic Motor Tester can be admired at the MadMotors Swiss Classic World stand until Sunday, June 4, 2023 17:00.
