Posts to read again
12/31/2024
As we all know, people like to look back at the end of the year. We at the Zwischengas editorial team do the same. And, although we have already shared all of our personal highlights and challenges from the past year with our readers, we would also like to publish a list of articles that we recommend reading again.
These are mostly articles that are a little off the "norm", whether they involve special memories or revolve around a lesser-known "object". So here is our list:
As a station wagon, the Saab is a rarity, which is the only reason why this article belongs on the list.
Admittedly, we don't get the pleasure of driving an almost commercial vehicle all too often, so we were all the more impressed by the VW bus opponent.
Picture story Auto e Moto d'Epoca
Daniel Reinhard 's picture stories are legendary and entertaining. The one taken in Bologna on the occasion of Auto e Moto d'Epoca is no exception. But the others are also among the photo reports that you can look at again and again.
Hilmar Walde and the VW Type 4
Meeting real enthusiasts is always something special. And when the passion also revolves around a car model that didn't have it easy in its active days, then all the more so.
It is rare to come across car models that you have never even heard of before when you study automotive history day in, day out. But the Italmeccanica I.T. 160 was really completely unknown to us until we discovered it.
The history of the first four-door Porsche, which never made it into production, is highly interesting and reveals a lot.
And then there was the story about Nina Müller, who as a young woman fell in love with the baby Benz. If there were more like her, we would be rid of our offspring worries.
Kamei ... Car improvement the Karl Meier way
Tuning from the very beginning, here you can read how Kamei came into being and disappeared. This is also a piece of contemporary history.
Of course, the list is somewhat arbitrary and we could have chosen another eight articles, after all, we always try to find interesting stories and research them very carefully.
If we have missed an article that you think is particularly valuable, please feel free to comment. We are always happy to receive feedback!
