When you are overtaken by your own history

Around 10 years ago, the world was still (almost) in order. The new models that were announced for 2012 and would therefore be youngtimers in ten years' time (2022) included the Subaru BRZ, VW Beetle Cabrio, Nissan GTR, Opel Astra GTC and Ferrari 458 Spider. At BMW, the 6-series Gran Coupé was waiting in the wings, while Cadillac was expecting the XTS. Fiat was preparing to launch the third generation of the Fiat Panda. And yes, there were already electric cars. Tesla was ready with the Model S, Renault with the Zoë, to name two examples.
Much of this is probably not yet relevant for today's classic and youngtimer enthusiasts and may never be. Nevertheless, we have often been asked when we would arrive with the magazine archive in the decade of the 21st century and with the Automobil Revue we have now made the connection. All volumes up to 2011 are now completely online .
If you browse through the more recent issues, you will also come across an announcement that turns Zwischengas itself into history. About 12 years ago, AR 51/2010 announced the launch of zwischengas.com, on a double page and with a teaser on the front page. We were a little proud of that back then. And a lot has happened since then, as you can see from how the site has changed.
