Around the same time that a Porsche owner from Wiesbaden had the rear of his 912 modified, a Swiss Mercedes-Benz owner had the front of his 220 SE Coupé redesigned. None other than pop singer Vico Torriani had the sportier nose of the Pagoda SL implanted into the Stuttgart luxury glider, effectively turning it into a "220 SLC". There are said to have been two other conversions of this type in Germany. Does one of them still exist?
