Of course, tastes differ, but Henrik Fisker and his colleagues have certainly achieved a masterful feat with the design of the rear light of the BMW Z8. The designer certainly benefited from the technological developments of the modern age, as such a light would not have been technically feasible in 1960. But earlier designers also put a lot of brainpower into giving the rear lights an individual and pleasing shape and placement.
Eight years ago, we put together a car connoisseur quiz on the subject of rear lights for the first time, and now we have gone into a new round and again selected ten rear lights from our photo archive for Zwischengas readers to recognize as part of the quiz. It's surprising how individually and specifically rear lights have been designed. However, correctly naming the corresponding car is not such an easy task. Would you like to try?
