Volkswagen built the last Beetle in July 2019. It was, so to speak, the last Beetle to be built, more than 80 years after the first production model. As we all know, things only really got going in the 1950s. And while the original Beetle replaced the Ford Estate as the world production champion, its more modern successors were not quite as successful.

To say farewell, Volkswagen has produced a short film that provides a wonderfully sentimental transition to the successor ...
