Auto Polo with iron horses

No, we're not talking about the Volkswagen with the name Polo here, but about the Polo Sport, or more precisely the Auto Polo, as it was played around the turn of the century before last.
They often used a Ford T, gave it a rudimentary roll bar and a bull bar in front of the radiator, and then they were ready to go.
The pictures shown here are over 100 years old and illustrate just how dangerous the sport was. Judging by the packed crowds, Auto Polo was extremely popular.

And there are even moving images from the Auto Polo era. They show that the grab rail really was also needed as a roll bar.
