Snow and ice, but where?
01/14/2020
Australia is on fire and we're waiting for snow. The weather is going completely crazy, but why is that? Certainly not just because of the few historic vehicles with combustion engines. Even if the Golf in the photo with the sledge on the roof is frantically searching for snow.
Events with classic cars will probably come under increasing pressure in the near future, as passers-by on the roadside are already shaking their heads. But why? Aren't there a hundred times more cars with combustion engines attending football matches, or let's just think of all the bike races with hundreds of accompanying vehicles, with combustion engines of course, in order to cover the distance safely? Or the logistical madness behind all the relocations of ski races from one place to another. In general, the first thing I would do would be to ban Christmas with its associated clearing of Christmas trees, the gigantic consumption of electricity for pointless decorations and, ultimately, all the garbage from online orders, with immediate effect.
Wouldn't it make much more sense to use all our energy to extinguish Australia and fight against the clearing of the rainforest before we ban cultural assets in the form of historic vehicles from the roads?
The Gulf was lucky, it finally found the snow at 1450 meters above sea level, coupled with sunshine and mild temperatures.
