How a loaf of bread came to advertise a VW, or not

Many years ago, the following story took place: The wife of an advertising agency employee had a hobby of baking bread. One day she noticed that a loaf she had just baked was almost the shape of a VW Beetle from above. As this advertising agency designed advertising campaigns for the Swiss Volkswagen importer, it was only a short way from the idea to the realization. The creative wife also came up with a suitable text, namely "what you need every day must be good".
The advertising motif was published in several media, but Walter Häfner, the owner of Volkswagen importer AMAG, was not happy about it. He immediately paid a visit to the advertising agency and told those responsible off. "Food is not there to be used for advertising," he told the perplexed gentlemen and demanded that the campaign be stopped immediately. Of course, the request was complied with, but the appearance of the advertisement in the AR catalog number from 1970 could no longer be stopped, which is why it can now also be seen on Zwischengas as the last page of the catalog from that time.
