Nico Rosberg, the first Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix winner since the Stuttgart-based company left the premier class of motorsport in 1955, drove two demo laps in the 1954 W196 Streamliner at the DTM opener in Hockenheim.
"It's just amazing when you get to drive a car like this. It's so much fun, you can hardly believe it," said Nico after his drive. On the second lap, he immediately tried out the limits of the car, which gave him some work at the wheel.
Today, Sunday, Nico is driving the Streamliner "against" his team colleague Michael Schumacher in the current Mercedes Silver Arrow.
